Beauty and Pain. . .

On the planet Feryal it is ruled by peace, and something else now . . . Feryal was once prosperous, but not exactly a peaceful planet. A strange race that calls themselves the Valan captured the planet and now is under power by Notin, leader of the Valan. A power-hungry general from the planet Ryces is searching for the power that keeps the people of Feryal under submission in a trace-like state. Sadly General Warrick was not allowed to access the planet after Notin claims it is under quarantine. The only human that can break through, and get in is Kyra, a self-employed assassin. Warrick needs to hire the woman as a spy, but must find her first. She has an annoying habit of slipping between her captor’s fingers. The last place she was seen was a distant, and hostile planet called Bryn. He wants to find her to solve the mystery of the force that keeps the Valan in power. Marcin, Warrick’s most loyal assistant and the Second In Command of Ryces, is hired to find and bring back the strangely alluringly fierce Kyra. With *some* difficulty he manages to capture and bring the none to willing girl back to Ryces. She is soon handed to Warrick and he tries to persuade her to help him.
